FOUND!!!

Well, my husband found it! He left it in the barn! I improvised on the poster board a little bit because I didn't make it to the store! I used those paper curtains that my husband's mom had hanging on her back doors. I also chose a great day! It was cloudy and rainy so I did turn the house lights on also because it was too dark and we don't have a lamp! Well, I looked at everyone elses pictures of the photo studio and I have a ways to come! I will try again when I get a poster board and find some lamps!
I still had a pumpkin and I wanted some pictures of our rings so I just threw a few things together!

I got my belt buckle. The pictures aren't as crisp as I wanted them but I adjusted my settings over and over and tried portrait and auto and none of them gave me what I wanted but I thought they were ok. I found the straw hat that I wanted. It is my sister-in-laws little boys and he wore it right out! He got a new one so he decided to let me borrow this one!!!
Gotta love the crinkled paper! I wish I had a poster board! We'll just say it added some texture to the photos!!!

LOST!!!

Well, last night my husband used my camera to take pictures of the puppies and it has appeared that he misplaced the camera bag!!! I have the camera but no bag which has all of my cords in it to hook it up to the computer and also my memory card for my final project as well! Gotta love the husbands when they do that right!!! I have searched all day and he said he will look when he gets home so I will post my pictures as soon as I find it!

Compostition Field Trip

I am so bad at uploading my pictures on tuesdays. I was good at it the first week! Well, here they are again not edited so I hope they are ok. I learned a ton on this field trip!! I think I tilted my camera a little too much on the last two though. Oops. Thanks Alexis, you have been a great teacher.

Field Trip!!!

Well, once again here are my unedited photos. The picture above I thought was cool. I will have to remember if I do anyone's pictures to go there. The one below (Jessica's sister but I can't remember her name, sorry). I did notice she has shadows on her face. Anyways, thank you to the models I learned a lot on this field trip.
I liked this one a lot because they were both so natural. They were joking with each other and laughing.
Thanks Alexis for all of your help. I have learned a ton in your class already.

Week 5: Lighting

I got these a little mixed up. The top one was taken at 1:00 pm. This one was taken at 6:00 pm

This one was taken at 4:00 pm. Of course the weather was not cooperating but it was cool to see how the clouds moved in each picture.

Photographing what I Love

This photo was taken at Mack Park. My little girl didn't want to look at me because she was watching a cat running throught the playground! I thought this photo of my husband and daughter holding hands was cute I wish I would have had it so you could see her hand better but it was a last minute decision to take the shot.
This photo below was out side on Monday when it was freezing. She looks so cute all bundled up!

In this picture she was telling her dad no! She has quite the little attitude now and can certainly glare well! This is a picture of the colts at my husband's parent's house. I sold my horse a few months ago so I couldn't photograph him!

Experimenting with preset modes

Sunday afternoon we decided to drive up Smithfield Canyon because I wanted to get pictures with the leaves for Christmas cards! So I let my little girl and my husband run around and play while I snapped a bunch of shots! This photo she was looking up at her dad! In this photo she had had enough and was very sick of me taking pictures of her! I saw a cute shot and thought I would try it! I used macro mode for this one to get a close up with the blurred background.
She is such a happy little girl! Her dad was playing peek-a-boo behind me and she thought it was so much fun!
We went on a 4-wheeler ride the other day throught the field and this is just a playhouse in somebodies backyard (or in the back of their field) I thought it was cool and the light was really pretty.
This is probably my favorite picture. We set her down and let her play and she ducked behind the rock and I caught the shot as she was standing up.
